Rather intense sounding track based upon distorted drum rhythms and drones.
modern electronic classical ambient experimental atmospheric contemporary musique concrete electroacoustic
Experimental, electroacoustic music, using recorded sounds manipulated and processed on Pro-Tools which are then put together in a musical fashion.
I am 22 years old and have recently completed a music degree at the University of Wales, Bangor. At the moment this page is just for music I composed during my degree, as I don't have access to a studio or recording equipment. These pieces are mostly experiments in electroacoustic music, written during the past year. There's also one or two of my better attempts at rock/pop/etc. Please have a listen and tell me what you think. Hope you enjoy. Cheers! xxx

Story behind the song
A piece written for my pop composition module. Originated when I found out that I could make sampled drums sound good by hugely distorting them using EQ. I layered a few rhythms; got my mate to drone some chords over them, and improvised the most twisted guitar bit that I could think of. Finally I slapped a sine wave with a delay on top. Another track that I'm still quite pleased with.
