Genetic Habit is a new upcoming Singaporean band with the styles of rock, fusion, alternative, hip hop and pop. Starting during mid 2002, the band's leading members are Clifton See and Calvin Nam, being musicians as well as producers. Both met each other during their producer's class at Grand Canyon Music Publishing and got on good terms. With the commence of classes, the idea of starting a band was brought out. The band became known as "Genetic Habit" with further member like David(Guitars), Yashub(Bassist) and Edward(Drummer). Edward eventually had to leave for Brisbane and so the band had to take a break. Indie label, Big'O, eventually discovered the band and intended for a full album release as the band's first album. With that, both Clifton and Calvin got on their heels and started their production agenda. Calvin being a psychadelic trance/break producer, lead guitarist and alternative songwriter and Clifton as a Hip Hop producer, keyboardist and pop songwriter gave a whole new world of mix styled compositions which marked their distinct revolutionary sound. The first album is finally released, "From Outside" and the band has moved on to find their latest drummer, Yahn.
