Story behind the song
i asked god for something inspirational from/through someone whos' wisdom and poetry quite often astound me. steven posted this on a web site the next day, thinking he had writen it i mailed him asking if i could use it as an intro. he then of course told me it was writen by a saint. i was unsure whether or not to use it but that night i read Mark 12:13-17 (it was just where i was up to, not opening the pages at random or looking for specific texts or anything). i was going to write some lyrics to sing over the top, but as i listened to it i could hear it saying all kinds of stuff, stuff that i'll get judged for no doubt, but ho-hum. if you can hear stuff i'd be interested to know what.

St. Theresa's Prayer (these words are of course written by her, i just don't know how to just put my credentials on the music only) May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.... May you be content knowing you are a child of God.... Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.
