High energy, alternative, punk/indie power trio playing our own songs plus some covers when the fancy takes us.
We are Double Zero - based in the South East of England. We write and perform alternative punk/garage rock tunes. The nucleus of the band is: Dave 'd-dog' Arthur - Guitar/Vocals Evan 'Ev' Arthur - Bass/Vocals At various times we have had one of the following drummers playing for us: Brian Sinclair Michael Glover Tim Senior Andy Miller Chris Palmer Joss Barkess Ryan Jeanes Pete Tomes The tunes here are mainly taken from live performances and rehearsals (no extra production whatsoever), but there are some demo recordings added now too.

Story behind the song
This live performance is one of our favourites, mainly thanks to the powerhouse performance of the most excellent Brian Sinclair on the drums - perfect! Chris Northam wrote the lyrics to this song when he and Dave were both punks and living in a bedsit in Acton. He would pick a horse name from the Sun's racing pages to give him inspiration! Dave would then thrash out a few chords and the song would emerge - quite a few songs were done like this. They were later built up and completed harmonically with bass parts from Ev.
