Story behind the song
This is one of the few songs that Connie and I (Derek) have co-written. "Connie wrote most of it I just helped out". We were sitting in my computer room back in Kamloops feeling totally tired and beat up by some stuff that had been going on and we thought, hey lets write a song (I know... its such a strange thing for two people in a band to do). So Connie pulled out some lyrics she had been working on and we jammed out a couple of riff's on our guitars with a bible in our lap and Shelter is what came out.
