Acoustic, harmonies, chilled out, relationships.
A combination of Tom Nash from 'A Nash Odyssey' and Ashley Morton from 'Accolade Sky', Nashley is a 'supergroup', if you will. If you won't, we're an 'awesomegroup'. Nah, just yanking your chain. We play acoustic guitar and singing harmonies. Or attempt to, at least.

Story behind the song
This song has two main themes - firstly and foremost, it’s about religious indoctrination (the evil of). There are parts where it’s meant to be a slightly ironic twist on Genesis - while according to the preachers, the apple is from the tree of knowledge, by personifying the snake from the fable, they are in fact exhorting the child to have their first taste of belligerent ignorance. Religious beliefs instilled into children are difficult to shake, since it’ll be one of their most primary and early beliefs, hence the ‘you’re never really ever gonna feel the same again’. The warmth in the brain represents the fuzzy warmth that such beliefs are intended to create and massage. The ‘something crucial’ is unbiased innocence, now tainted. The second theme is the simple pleasure of playing the evil role. It’s well known that generally the villains in any set piece of fiction are far, far cooler than the hero - Darth Vader, Dr. No, Satan. Even the heroes of film noir are given that gritty, uncertain side which gives them their class. So this song is written a way to construe taking pleasure in infecting the child. I know that this is highly unlikely for parents to actually feel if they’re mistakenly passing down their own flawed beliefs, but I think it brings out the real bile behind the song.
Lyrics
I Will be your lullaby And as you sleep I'll make you think of all your older dreams that passed you by Make No mistake You'll be lulled into a coma by the throaty sounds that I make And can you taste it still upon your lips? The poison that you sucked from my fingertips tonight? Tonight? And can you tell from the warmth inside your brain, You're never really ever gonna feel the same Again? Again? Oh no! Once You're in my trance I'll be the snake inside your Eden and you'll end up dreaming in tongues And Just like planned The tears in your eyes will form a gritty sand And can you taste it still upon your lips? The poison that you sucked from my fingertips tonight? Tonight? And can you tell from the warmth inside your brain, You're never really ever gonna feel the same Again? Again? Oh no! So lay your head down And let me surround You with my odd but comfortable sounds And when I shake You back awake You'll feel you've lost something crucial Like a confused animal And can you taste it still upon your lips? The poison that you sucked from my fingertips tonight? Tonight? And can you tell from the warmth inside your brain, You're never really ever gonna feel the same Again? Again? Again? Again? Oh no!
