Story behind the song
I was with my friend Sara in the Porter dining hall at UCSC, and I was waiting for some toast to finish. While I was waiting, I sang the line "Hey, toast, don't be bread, why don't you turn into toast instead?" and Sara told me I should make it into a song. So I did. The chorus is the same melody I sang that faitful day in the dining hall.
