Story behind the song
lot of people wonder ask this song is so damn short...it's cuz the first take of this song which was originally meant to be a guide track sort of just sounded really good the way it was mixed (it's all acoustic guitar, so there are some effects achieved that would be difficult to reproduce), so i didn't want to take any chances extending it. i think it serves as a nice interlude the way it is.
why dominic? when i first recorded one of the first first demos i thought it sounded like i was ripping off mogwai. instead of naming it mogwai which would be really really dumb, i named it after the only member whose name i could remember (i think dominic is the bassist).
