Story behind the song
This was one of several songs I wrote in 2001/02, along with Fluoxetine, that deals with my feelings about antidepressant useage.
Lyrics
Sometimes I feel so lonely
Sometimes I feel so afraid
When the things that I want
are the things that elude me so
Now my head is in my hands
I can't even masturbate myself
You took my hatred when you took my reason
And now you're back for something else
Sometimes I'm alienated
Sometimes I'm outside in the rain
When the things that I want
Become the things that have been
Now my head is in my hands
I can't even sulk by myself
You took my pain when you took my motive
And now you're back for something else
She's lost it, she's bonkers,
she's gone off the rails
All dressed up in pink with little details
She waits in the dark for the
monsters to get her
She'd cry if she could
but the mood elevators won't let her
