Formed in 2001, refugees from several pop/rock bands in and around the Washington Dc area, the three members of Onestop forged a musical union built on the firm foundation of melodic rock. Onestop's influences climb on every branch of the pop family tree; the Beatles, Rasberries, Bare Naked Ladies, Stones and even some Back Street Boys. Onestop's freshman CD, Pop Shop, is dedicated to the band's battle cry of "NO B SIDES!", and once you listen, you too will be a believer.

Story behind the song
We were trying to send a message out to anyone and everyone who has ever felt like a small cog in a big machine, the idea being that there is hope and everything does happen for a reason, but most times we can't see where its all going till we get there. Basically, chin up, its all good!!
Lyrics
Tricia said to her big, boy Ted that inside her head, she's been feelin' more dead than alive; Teddy sighs and he rolls his eyes, he can empathize, so they get into the car and drive; and what we're tryin' to do, (does it not matter?) what we're goin' through, (does it not matter now?) who we think is who, does it not matter now? will we fit in somehow? (chorus) the days roll on, its a part of a plan, I let go of the hands of time and I'm livin' in the big design; some things will change, some won't change at all, my changes are small sometimes, they're still pieces of a big design: Tricia feels like her lifes unreal, like its no big deal, like she's spinnin' her wheels standin' still; Ted agrees its a teen disease, like some legacy, that has never changed and never will; where we sleep at night, (it's our own business), what we think is right, (it's our own business now), where we set our sights, it's our own business now, we will fit in somehow; (chorus) the days roll on, its a part of a plan, I let go of the hands of time and I'm livin' in the big design; some things will change, some won't change at all, my changes are small sometimes, they're still pieces of a big design: (bridge) one day you'll look back and marvel at how perfect things are that seem imperfect now; (chorus) the days roll on, its a part of a plan, I let go of the hands of time and I'm livin' in the big design; some things will change, some won't change at all, my changes are small sometimes, they're still pieces of a big design:
