In the words of James Taylor, It's me and my guitar. Always in the same mood! Then again, maybe my guitar is just humoring me - sigh -
Just me, I'm an old Folksinger that still plays out once in a blue moon. Thank you for listening to my primitive acoustic songs. I am a retired Army Bandsman, a certified Wall Wacker, and am currently a teacher. Next time I retire I am going back into Folksinging. It's the perfect occupation really, no hope of fame and fortune and definately keeps me humble. Folksinging just naturally makes me a better person I s'pose.

Story behind the song
I wanted a relationship, not to be part of a collection. We both lost. Years later, I don't feel so bad about it I guess.
Lyrics
The Toy Song Charles W - T Consaul 1. My mainspring has been wound too tight Them gears are stripped and bare I've been played with a little too Rough for a toy My insides aren't all there What did you do with my cotton smile What did you do to my heart You got the pieces mixed up or lost somehow When you tore me all apart C: You played with me just as long as you could Left me in the park with the other old toys To rust away as the sun went down But my batteries aren't quite dead yet I think I just might get away Find somebody that will love me enough To make me run and run all day C2: You must think I'm your play toy To string me up the way you do You got to think I can't feel it When you CUT my wire in two 3. Well this old boy can't take no more He's going back to the old toy store Get himself put back together again And find someone who will love me more What did you do with my cotton smile What did you do to my heart I gotta get myself put back together again Because you tore this boy apart
