The DWOMS formed in 1980 from the pale, smouldering ashes of almost legendary Oxford beat combo 'Kites A-Z' then disbanded in 1981. The songs on this Soundclick site were salvaged from a cobweb and custard covered cassette tape of the DWOMS recorded live at the Press Ball at Blades in Botley, Oxford, 1981. Malcolm Edwards: Vocals Mick Clack: Guitar, vocals Dave Bowmer: Guitar, vocals Bob Hundley: Bass, vocals Perry Smith: Drums

Story behind the song
One of us makes a mistake...we all make a mistake
Lyrics
Your words go in through an ear straight to my heart Inject the fever that tears me apart like green kryptonite out of its lead case You drain the colour out of my face It makes my blood run cold Out on a river Necking in a boat I freeze as your mouth touches my throat It makes my blood run cold You make my blood run cold in my veins Thaw me Set your bush alight Baby your breath turns me into a stalagtite It makes my blood run cold Your breath is lethal I can't endure this drop in temperature You make my blood run cold in my veins Copyright 1981 Mick Clack
