In the words of James Taylor, It's me and my guitar. Always in the same mood! Then again, maybe my guitar is just humoring me - sigh -
Just me, I'm an old Folksinger that still plays out once in a blue moon. Thank you for listening to my primitive acoustic songs. I am a retired Army Bandsman, a certified Wall Wacker, and am currently a teacher. Next time I retire I am going back into Folksinging. It's the perfect occupation really, no hope of fame and fortune and definately keeps me humble. Folksinging just naturally makes me a better person I s'pose.

Story behind the song
I got some good advice once and after we discussed the implications, we decided to put it into a song. We never got around to it however, so I finally slapped this together to open the first round of discussion?
Lyrics
You cannot Love A Cowboy On A Sunday Charles W - T Consaul 1. Cowboys never did like Sunday Mornings Sunday Mornings always spoil their fun 'Cause they can't chase their trucks through town Shoot up the streets or tear 'em down Or raise their voice in Glory to the Sun Now if you ever meet a Cowboy on a Sunday He'll probably feel dragged out And look real mean Just Take him home and Treat him nice Easy on the good advice By Tuesday he'll be up and looking clean C: But you cannot love a Cowboy on a Sunday You cannot kick a good man when he's down Just Hold him while he's sleeping And be careful not to wake him Until Tuesday Morning finally comes around 2. Now People, they get religion on a Sunday And Monday morning people get the blues I guess it's like the Lord give us an Overcoat But then the Devil went and stole our overshoes Now someone's got to look out for the Cowboys So the Cowboys all can look out for the cows You may not get him to church to save his Poor immortal soul But you just might save his life While he's around Chorus C2: I said you cannot love a Cowboy on a Sunday You've got to wait until the feeling's right But if you find a Cowboy To take care of on a Sunday Well, you're gonna have a Ball on Friday Night! I said if you find a Cowboy To take Care of on a Sunday Well, you're gonna have a ball on Friday Night! (Tip your hat to the ladies) (Do-Si-Do outa-there)
