Story behind the song
A close friend of mine lets out her frustration sometimes by writing a letter to the person who has made her angry telling them exactly how she feels and why, holding nothing back. However, she never gives them the letter. It is not for there eyes it is simply a therapeutic method to release pent up emotions. In this case I began writing it from the stand point of a child to their father, but I didn't have any hostility toward my father so it was difficult, so I changed it and wrote it as a post break up song.
