Restless Moon is a band based in the Netherlands, and its music lies between rock and heavy metal, with many progmetal and sympho influences.
Restless Moon is a one-man progmetal project from the Netherlands, with vocals, guitars, keyboard, bass and drums. Also some other instruments might be used if necessary. Midi programming is also part of the package. I am very much into rock and metal, and specifically into the progressive side of it, so that can be found in the music written for Restless Moon. Heavy or gentle, or in between, but always looking for that good melody. Please go to the MySpace site for the latest updates. http://www.myspace.com/restlessmoonband

Story behind the song
The first breath taken after long imprisonment. One of the first songs I wrote with use of lots of keyboards. The song is still being re-recorded with mainly warmer guitar sound, and less trebles. Updates will follow...
Lyrics
Illusion Confusion New passion Delusion? Expectation Domination Of frustration Caused cold sedation Of all that matters… Standing and watching in the doorway I can smell the first scents of future’s eve New moments of thoughts in a stray Might be the first attempt to rise from my grieve The first ice seems to melt, drip and seep Could this be the first sign of the end? The end of a long and cold winter sleep But still not sure when spring will mend (chorus) And it feels like the first scent of spring Or a soft wake up call in the morning There’s still a tear in the first scent of spring Anxiously awaiting what new dawn will bring I will start this new day with a deep breath And try to listen to the story of my heart Need to do the best and avoid a tragic death Weeping willow and butterflies still tearing me apart
