Acoustic side project focused on growth, exploration and annoying the shit out of people.
Inspiration can hit at the strangest times. Lately I've been inspired by some pretty offbeat memories, experiences, readings and ideas. My hope is that I can blend them with the words in my heart and stake my claim of originality. That being said, this is overflow parking. Here, have a seat.

Story behind the song
My old friend Ken in California went a little nuts a few days ago...
Lyrics
Safe to say, that modestly I set the scene at the party of the century A long story full of amphetamines Cigarettes, acid benders and some ketamine Now my friend Ken's been up for two days straight Jacked on ice and freakin' on some Russian raves He finally crashes as I accidentally set myself on fire He wakes up crazy as I douse the flames Screams, "The war has started and they know my name!" Grabs a pistol from a cabinet in the kitchen And he can't stop twitchin' and shakin' it around Now Ken's been in 17 institutions For legitimate problems with no solution Been crazy before but I'd have to blame this on the drugs Ken, this could be the second time I never see you again But I can't defend you, my friend After Ken flips out and he hides in a closet I hide behind a couch and yell I'm gonna call the cops It was a bluff at first but then he started firing shots So I ring up the station, tell 'em about the situation Keep in mind I'm still trippin' so I'm losing orientation And the voice from the void Says we'll send a few boys Over there to take care of it now Ken, this could be the second time I never see you again But I can't defend you, my friend Finally the Riot team arrives post-haste With laser-guided tasers and a renegade Who has 8 confirmed kills and he wants to make it 9 So the snipers on the rooftop keep this in mind They maneuver Ken into an open position All it takes is one well-placed volition And my friend's polluted gray matter Lies there scattered on the ground Ken, this could be the second time I never see you again But I can't defend you Ken, this will the final time I never see you again But I can't defend you my friend I can't defend my friend
