A little bit Gordon Lightfoot, a little bit Harry Chapin, a dash of Paul Simon, and a whole lot of myself. I think of my music as Americana with blues, country
I play solo and with WOODY, my trio. When I play solo, I do mostly original songs with some selected covers by songwriters I hold in high regard. WOODY plays originals by the three of us also, with some covers to satisfy those in the audience who are hooked on the same 'ol stuff' they hear on the radio - except that it's not the same old stuff. We do it for the excitement and to get people dancing. It seems to work :-)

Lyrics
You've already made up your mind that things can't remain the same looks like that's not gonna change you won't be keeping my name You say put it all behind me and start myself a new life that you're gonna get on with a new one yourself that I should find a new wife (chorus) and it looks like all of that livin' and all of that lovin' it just wasn't meant to last and the only part of your life where I belong is in your past (break) It's gonna take some time and some distance to heal the hurt in my heart I'm not looking forward to remembering your words after I make a new start (chorus) 'cause it looks like all of that livin' and all of that lovin' it just wasn't meant to last and the only part of your life where I belong is in your past yes, the only part of your life where I belong is in your past
