A little bit Gordon Lightfoot, a little bit Harry Chapin, a dash of Paul Simon, and a whole lot of myself. I think of my music as Americana with blues, country
I play solo and with WOODY, my trio. When I play solo, I do mostly original songs with some selected covers by songwriters I hold in high regard. WOODY plays originals by the three of us also, with some covers to satisfy those in the audience who are hooked on the same 'ol stuff' they hear on the radio - except that it's not the same old stuff. We do it for the excitement and to get people dancing. It seems to work :-)

Lyrics
When I wake up next to you in the mornin' and look over at your beautiful hair I think about how lucky a man can get and I wonder what am I doing here I imagine what the single men are doing and wonder if maybe I should wake you up so I can kiss you all over and stoke your fireplace with my mornin' wood (chorus 1) Mornin' Wood, it sure feels good all this sexual energy, it's all pent up inside of me I have it almost constantly no matter what the time would be I'm happy with this mornin' wood (break) It don't matter how much drinkin' I do tonight it won't matter when I go to bed 'cause when the sun comes up, I'm like a frisky little pup I'm gonna wanna have you strokin' my head (chorus 2) Mornin' Wood, it sure looks good all this sexual energy, I wonder what's come over me I think about it frequently no matter what the time would be I'm happy with my mornin' wood Yeah, I love the at big ol' mornin' wood I'm thankful for my mornin' wood!
