Played guitar, fiddle & mandolin in Rock Bands, Country Rock and Southern Rock Bands during and after College in the late 70's. Presently concentrate on songwriting and home-recording. I had a couple of songs picked up by a music publisher at one point. Once in a while I get talked into performing again; otherwise I just get together with my friends.

Story behind the song

Just trying to write that special love song…My wife and I love to sit and watch the sunsets… especially at the Jersey Shore. (I sound like I’m getting old.)  Well that’s where this song got its inspiration…watching sunsets…… The song was done using Reason 3.0 for the piano and cellos and the rest was done in Acid Pro. It ain’t perfect but this is how I heard it in my head. Just a simple folk-type arrangement…I did all instruments and vocals...
