Story behind the song
Brian always writes the music first, then I add the words, This one, turns out to be a short story.
Lyrics
Rising is the morning star she wakes the sleeping sea she winks down on the water and throws down her golden fleese wake up you sleepy head she says I've a job for you there's someone sleeping on the shore lost the only love, she knew and the Zephur dances in the far off trees new romances lost in the breeze now her fire was still burning the sea crept up with care he knew he had to wake her wake her if he dared he kissed her gently on the face he wet the sand beneath her feet slowly he rose upon her till she stired in her sleep wake up you sleepy head he said I've a job to do your love is gone and your alone but there's still a life, for you and the Zephur dances in the far off trees new romances, lost in the breeze the Zephur danced above her head he blew gently in her ears follow me aliitle wjhile I've a job for you there's someone sleeping in the woods lost the only love he knew no need to put out your fire we've got a gift for you wake up you sleepy head she said there is much to do your love is gone and your alone but I an here for you and the Zephur dances in the far off trees new romances lost in the breeze (repeats)

Incredibly delicious song, ear candy and then some! Happened upon your music by accident tonite, my good fortune I guess! Read about how you wrote this song together, blows my mind, I write my music on my own, and all at once. This tune melds together all of it so well, would have figured it was written the same way. You guys are like a Buckingham/Nicks duo, great job. Totally love the guitar, is just sweet, great melody, and the vocals totally rock the song! 5 stars all the way!! Has a 60's rock vibe goin on with it too! Love the story to the song and lyrics. I have to add this to my station, know I will be listening to it again and again, thanks for sharing your wonderful music here. If you ever enjoy mellow acoustic rock, check out my music sometime. Take care and keep on keepin On! ;) ~strummergurl~
