Hey, thanks for stopping by. I'm just a guy who likes writing songs, and this is a place for me to put the songs I write for others to critique.

Story behind the song
We had a blackout here a few months back. Too dark to read, too early to go to bed, so I pulled my guitar up to the window and started playing. Wrote most of this that night.
Lyrics
Guitar By Moonlight Playing guitar by moonlight Slave to the power grid Playing guitar in the twilight Of the chance that might have been What would I think to tell If you recounted all my sins Far more to lose in the deluge Than I could ever hope to win So I'm playing guitar in the moonlight until then Seeing your face by starlight You pat the empty seat beside Seeing my face in the headlights Reflecting off a scared deer's eye Why can't I simply take my place And stare across the lake with you Wouldn't I like the reflection Of the ripples making one of two Baring my soul in the moonlight Please whisper its not a mistake Feeling my way to your side Can you feel how my fingers shake? Naked I came into this world And naked I'll return Naked I stand before you now In the soft glow of la lun So I'm baring my soul by moonlight Wishing it wasn't quit so bright Shedding the fears that hold me tight Will you take their place tonight Now I'm baring my soul by moonlight For your eyes
