I'm really a guitarist but got into writing my own music a few years ago. I compose, record, arrange and mix the whole lot. I'm pretty diverse really, ranging from heavy rock, to dance, to folk, to semi-classical instrumentals, that are all done on my synth, and then mixed down onto my studio gear. I currently use a ZOOM 10 track digital recorder for this, which is fine.
