Story behind the song
RESPECT And FELLOW FEELING for all those who lost their lives in this war...and for all those who lost Dear Friends and Relatives.... Rest in Peace Group Song composed at Brize Norton Peace Camp, Oxfordshire, outside the Military Air Base where soldiers fly to Iraq - some for the last time. A local girl came to the camp saying how her uncle is one of the pilots regularly taking the soldiers out to Iraq....he told her how he took some 18/19 year olds out there and tragically he was returning them to Brize Norton a week later in their coffins... The names rapped in the bridge of the song are of some of the activists at the camp.... RESPECT to all those who lost their lives in this war...RIP
