It’s just another rainy Monday morn
as I head out to my car
Old worn tires, the radio won’t play
Hope it won’t breakdown along the way
Is it worth the effort to stay?
It’s just another rainy Monday morn
as the kids sit down to eat
Spilled Cheerios puddle where they lay
I hear another temper tantrum on the way
Don’t know if I can take another day
Treasure what you have
Not what you’re looking for
Kiss your wife and hug your kids
Be thankful - you need no more
It’s a lesson I learned
One Rainy Monday Morn
It’s just another rainy Monday morn
as I head out towards the door
Then my wife she kisses me so sweet
And my kids hug me around my feet
And suddenly my life seems so complete
Rainy Monday morns used to bring me down
Now I see the sun in my wife’s eyes
Children’s laughter drives the clouds away
On those rainy Monday morns
