Story behind the song
This song was recorded on a boombox with one of my first bands, Submerge System. Submerge system was the band that turned into A Thought Upon Leaving. I wrote this when I was 18, and I lived with my grandma and my great grandpa also lived with us, and he went to the hospital and almost died, and i wrote this song while i thought he was dying. He didn't die, but i'm 22 now and he died recently. He was an amazing person.
