Story behind the song
Song about being lost.
Lyrics
Down the road I go. Where I stop, I don't even know. Down the road I go. Nothin' is for certain you just give it your best. Tie up all the loose ends for you lay down to rest. Find yourself alone. The price you pay to roam. Where did all your feelin' go? Broken Heart your Love is gone. (Chorous) So you hang on to the part of you that's easy overcome. The Misty secret heart of you is Lyin' in the Sun. As you stumble in the darkness with no lighgt to shine your way, You know inside you will never find your way back home. (inst brk) Down the road I go. Round and around, any way the wind blows, down the road I go. Up and down the highway, seven days a week, hardly ever stop to rest or get a bite to eat. Ridin' in a car. You travel a star. There's realoly no where else to turn. Your dreams are lost you'll never learn. Chorous) So you hang on to the part of you that's easy overcome. The Misty secret heart of you is Lyin' in the Sun. As you stumble in the darkness with no lighgt to shine your way, You know inside you will never find your way back home. Down deep in-side you will never find your way back home.
