I am a singer/songwriter in English and Spanish. I write mostly hymns in a fairly conservative style, but with enough melody and rhythm to hopefully be interesting.
Story behind the song
The idea and a few lyrics came to me just after church one Sabbath. I hastily wrote them down, because I had something else I wanted to do. I then forgot about them for a while, but then discovered the unfinished song later as I was going through some papers. I worked on the lyrics and came up with a tune. But then I wasn't totally satisified with that melody, so I came up with a different one. The challenge of this song is like my theme song.
