Filthy Rich could be considered a one-man-band. In all of my tracks, every piece of his work is original. I was raised in the suburbs of Detroit with musical influences ranging from opera to frank sinatra to underground hip-hop. I played drums at my local church on sunday mornings, played in an emo band on the weekends, and wrote hip-hop lyrics throughout the week. In 2001, I released my first CD "The Marlboro Man Project", and with what I would consider a "small success" behind me started laying down tracks for my new album which is yet to be titled.
