Original Music in Popular Styles Written from a Christian Perspective
Did you know that Carter is the 42nd most popular last name in the U.S.? Or that Robert is the 3rd most popular 1st name?!?!?!?!? Well I asure you that if you are looking for a guy that loves Jesus, writes music to worship and glorify the Father Son and Holy Spirit AND writes...4th and 5th grade band music...? I'M your man!!! These days I have mostly been doing occassional solo gigs as I court the lovely and talented Mindy Schott (my girlfriend of 6 months.) I do orriginal contemporary worship and pop rock orriginals from a Christian perspective. There's just enough humor, sincerity, and vulnerability to keep the audience attentive as I share my Christian experience in an attempt to meet people where they are and bring them closer to God. With the band, we do a lot of "secular" rock covers with a Christ centered focus. That way, people are bound to hear the songs again and have the seed watered.

Story behind the song
Written for the the 2003-2004 UConn basetball teams. Recieved some airplay on 96.5 WTIC fm and a lot of airplay on WTIC am 1080 (they still play it from time to time) I had the chance to give every player on both teams a copy and the men gave me a signed poster! The backing vocals at the end were members of the CHYG (pronounced Chug; Covenant High Youth Group) which is our youth group at the Thomaston Evangelical Covenant Church. The laugh near the end is Christy Fredlund. She's so cool!
