A jam-based rock band with metal,southern rock and folk influences.
We are December Son, a jam based rock band whose influences are as wide as Incubus,Skynyrd,Metallica, and Dave Matthews. We are from the Southeast Missouri and play live as much as possible. We have a 16 song cd on the way. Until then, I will post unmixed versions of the songs for y'all to preview. Hope you dig it.

Story behind the song
A friend of mine had an uncle who served in 'Nam. He came back and had flashbacks very often. One day, while his wife was working in the garden out front, he flipped out again. He put on his fatigues and loaded up his M16. He walked up to their French doors and started yelling at her in Vietnamese. She got scared and went next door, where she called the police to come calm him down. One of the guys who came was a new recruit, and he got scared when he saw the gun, so he shot and killed him. This song is for him, or any other vet who feels like no one is listening.....I am.
