DNA-1 reps an onslaught of treacherous verse with both east coast and west coast influences. A little bit funk, a little bit hip hop and all bling, DNA sits on
Well 2006 is nearing it's end. DNA has continued working on music, MTV's "Pimp My Ride" and "Next" have been playing "Slidin" as well as other network shows, but most of the focus has redirected towards film and television, DNA made his network debut on "In Justice" which aired on "ABC" January 20, 2006. Since then DNA has been in an MTV Movie Award Promo with Jessica Alba, read with Ben Affleck for a lead in his directorial debut "Gone Baby Gone". DNA is also in upcoming NBA 2K7, AOL and Budweiser campaign spots, the new T.I/Jamie Foxx music video "Live In The Sky" directed by Chris Robinson and recently filmed the U2/Greenday video "The Saints are coming" directed by Chris Milk. We told you earlier this year was going to be major, now for the commercial stuff, peace out. "DNA-1 reps an onslaught of treacherous verse with both east coast and west coast influences. A little bit funk, a little bit hip hop and all bling, DNA sits on top of So Cal's rap game. DNA has had some mainstream exposure when his title track “Industry” was included as part of the soundtrack for the Russell Simmons’ American Truths documentary series entitled, F.E.D.S. He has also opened for such acts as Method Man, Nappy Roots and Ahmad Jones. With every page that turns in the life of DNA-1 another door opens to reveal the talent and skill of this prolific emcee." -SD MUSIC MATTERS MAGAZINE

Story behind the song
I wrote this track the first day I met Ronny King and his production team. Heard it, wrote it and recorded it, all in about an hour and a half.
