he gave me advice on
relationships and love
as he received a call
from his first love---
unhappily married with
two kids and a husband
who put her in 50
thousand dollar debt.
she told him that her
husband was a pendejo
and that she should never
have left him in the first place
cuz drugs and robbery do not
make an honest man.
she knew all men weren't honest
anyway.
so he gave me advice
on relationships and love.
he told me his boy didn't make
the perfect candidate for a boyfriend
and the reason i'm so miserable
is that i'm too good to be true
in the ages of polygamy and
serial monogamy.
she hung up the phone
because her husband walked into
the room so he kept on giving me
advice on relationships and love
which meant to prove that they don't exist
unless it's a first love,
then that lasts forever. . .
