Story behind the song
Has life ever just gotten under your skin? Through all the good you've tried to do, has it ever just seemed to backfire? Has it ever seemed like the deck is stacked against you and other forces are trying to take control? This song is about those moments and regaining control of you. It's about retreating, regrouping and recollecting yourself. The words me seem a little bit unsettling for some but if you listen completely, I think the message is pretty plain. This song helped me through a pretty rough period.
