Story behind the song
This is really the first song I ever wrote completely by myself, and I do think its one of the best. Phil and I had stopped recording together because of differences, but he wained me back to record one last song for his labels compilation cd. The song I originally started was Going Pains, but I wrote PLTWE and I knew it would be better if I was showcasing my best stuff. The final vocal was cut on which was probably me and Phils last session together and I was satisfied with it. The original vocal was a lot more deep a scratchy. The effect on the harmonica was really a nice touch Phil added. I think its one of the better ones that I did.
