A song about a mediocre middle aged man sleeping on the couch and dreaming of better things, only to be awaken by his wife to reality. Update: I thought the drums sounded pretty bad, so I redid them
An independent artist who writes music for the fun of it.
I've always been interested in music, so I decided to make my own. This "band" is really just me playing all the instruments.
My AIM is AldiSean if you want to contact me.
Story behind the song
I wrote the music and worked some lyrics to it, recorded it in about an hour.
Lyrics
Poor little thing,
What do you do
In the scheme of things
You might as well be
a drop of tea in a sea of antifreeze.
Mind your looks,
Clean your clothes because
Heaven only knows when
That giant check I see on TV
Finally comes to me
(Oh no, oh nooooo)
One, two, three,
Time is running out
Four, five, six
The Clock is slowing down,
Seven, eight, nine
And I am feeling fine,
Eight, seven six,
The days are getting longer,
Five, four, three,
My heart is so much stronger,
2, 1, now
And I am busting out
I can feel it
I am different
Everything is falling into
Place for me
I’m so near it
I don’t fear it
Everything is how its meant to
Be for me
I don’t need anything,
I’ve finally found what
I’ve been looking for
I might as well be
A single atom in a nuclear bomb
Build your dams,
Fill your bags
With sand and place them
In my way because
Nothing can stop me,
I’m a flood of notability
Wake up,
it was all a dream,
You were looking so happy
Get up you lazy bum,
It’s time to clean the house
From top to bottom
Life is short,
You should get a clue,
Make a stand and fight
Against meaningless existence
