In the vein of the great 60's and 70's improvisational power groups (Allmans, Cream, Jimi Hendrix), Spackle creates a new and modern power combo. The thundering rhythm section of Matt Schuler and Manny Ramos, coupled with the searing guitars of Scott Mayer and Albert Castigila, makes Spackle a Tour-de-force of rock n roll and one of the best live bands that Miami has to offer.

Story behind the song
After leaving college, many "strong" women that I knew were having a hard time making the transition to the working world and lost their self-confidence. This song was an attempt to combine the stories of many of the women that were going through this traumatic time in their lives.
Lyrics
Downtime Caught a cross-town bus to be next to you You told me you were scared and confused Your life is changing and things are uncertain Tried to be strong but I can see you’re hurtin’ CHORUS And it’s true That I can see right through you Don’t be blue Cause things, things will get better You lie awake at night hoping just to see The beautiful lady that you dreamt you’d be Forget about your problems, just move on ahead Sometimes you have to run the light when it turns red CHORUS JAM Some people call it downtime, some people call it peace Sometimes it’s frightening and sometimes it’s a release You must find your way but you don’t have to do it on your own Tomorrow we’ll look back and see how much we’ve grown CHORUS
