Story behind the song
I decided it would be a cool idea to cover a song by a local band. I decided on About Samneric's "Echoes" because a) it was one of the only good recordings around of a local band b)I'm good friends with the members and wanted to show them how I always heard that song and c)this song also had a beautfiul simplicity about it, as well as a compelling vocal line that I was dying to embelish with harmonies. Out of all the tracks I did on Koppy Kitten, I think the vocals on Echoes came out the best.
