Story behind the song
i was sitting out on the bow of my boat with my acoustic, vacationing with my family in august '03. the sun was on the verge of setting and the ocean was just totally beautiful in a very trite, cliche kind of way, of course. it was the first song i'd written all summer, and set the stage for since august's time in the sun, if you will.
