Story behind the song
Believe it or not the inspiration for this song was the DMV. It was during covid, and it was in the winter. I needed to get my license renewed and when I went to the front door, I notices six or seven people standing OutFront in the freezing rain while waiting for the DMV person to come get them one by one. That didn't set too well with me, so I just pushed the door open and went inside. It was like I was a bank robber because several workers came running and shouting that I had to wait outside until they called me. I told them they were crazy as hell and just went right up to their window. They didn't expect it, but they did go ahead and give me the little tests before issuing my license. I walked back out the front door, looked at all those people standing in the rain, told them they were nuts and got in my car and left. Our free country is less free than we think. We don't control the government as was intended. We work for the government.
