This is the sad tale of a over-worked under-apriciated sheep. It's a nice tagic melody for all of those good people out there who never seem to quite fit in.

Story behind the song
I was in the middle of recording a rock album when I felt the sudden urge to write a mellow acoustic song. I wanted to write a pretty song about a mice loveable black sheep. Nothing else.
Lyrics
Black Sheep Words and Music by John Thomas - 2004 Black sheep sleeps on a hill all alone No shepherds love, but still they need his wool To warm their beds and to make pillows for their heads His wool is the best But still he was always, always alone His mother wore a crown and his father wore a frown They were the whitest and the brightest of the best how could a God give them a son they could not love with a dark son, it's better to have non So he was always, always alone Winter fell with clippers in their hands they would keep their children warm with a pair of black wool pants With out a coat and still with out a home he fell asleep one last time, a bald sheep in the snow and he was always, always alone he was always, always alone.
