DrumnBass...Amens overtop crisp highs/fine-tuned snares&kicks, bigroom bass, vocal snips, bongos & crowd-hypin breakdowns/buildups (Track: 50% done: needs longer intro, overall variation, mixout work...) Opinions are welcome!

Diaspora - EDM (House, Drum n Bass, Breaks...etc.)
Diaspora is a rising DJ/Producer from the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area. Currently, his production has focused on Drum n Bass and House. His style incorporates a few key elements: dnb = dirty, energetic, dark, aggressive, funky and old skool (all depends). Crazy synths, samples by the dozen, funky drums, thick penetrating bass...what else do you need? house = deep, upbeat, funky, techy and dubby. butt shakin' shit for the truely flexible househead out there... There is no real "niche" that he sticks to, simply cuz there's so much that can be done with the styles that exist. Corey also produces breaks, more towards the old skool/uk hardcore feel. Please feel free to email Corey (djdiaspora@aol.com) and tell him what you think. Feedback is always appreciated!

Story behind the song
It started out when I decided to start using kits with real drums or "live drums"...which, in this case, can be found in rock kits. When I got a real nice drum pattern down (I was very happy with the live feel of the drums), I threw some heavily EQed amens over top of it, to funk things up a bit. After a ton of effects work, sampling, eqing and variation work...this is where I am. NOTE: the last minute or so is a little repetitious; i'm working on that section next.
