The Lord has ears to hear your cry. Meet Him today wherever you are at. Be born again to new live in Jesus
Ive written hundreds of songs over the past 40 years. I love Jesus, the word of God, people and music. I play guitar, bass and sing. Thank you for listening!
My music is about the new life found in Jesus Christ. He is our access to the Father and is worthy of all praise and glory. He has taken our sins away by the selfless sacrifice of His death upon the cross. He is deserving of songs and worship.
The sound of my music is influenced by the delta blues and artists that have followed through the 60s and 70s who have taken this music and written folk, Americana, and Rock n Roll.
Thank you for listening to my songs, and also the collaboration projects, thank you to all who contributed to these songs..
Story behind the song
"Call On The Lord" is a heartfelt, worship-centered song that calls believers to seek the presence of God with reverence, passion, and longing. The lyrics explore themes of divine glory, deliverance, and guidance, urging listeners to open their hearts and minds to Gods voice and His power. With a combination of personal reflection and communal praise, the song emphasizes Gods majesty, purity, and peace, alongside a call to worship and devotion.
The chorus reinforces the exaltation of God's sovereignty, with declarations of His rule "on high" and His holiness. Throughout the song, theres a strong invitation to call upon God for salvation and transformation, particularly in the bridge and outro, where the singer expresses a fervent desire to live for God eternally, praising and worshiping Him forever. The imagery of fire, valleys, and mountaintops highlights the awe and passion experienced in God's presence, while the closing lines reflect a deep yearning for God to ignite a passionate, unceasing devotion.
Musically, the song builds from a contemplative tone into a powerful anthem, with moments of quiet intimacy leading to a celebratory crescendo. The repeated call to "call on the Lord" serves as both an invitation and a reminder of God's readiness to answer, making this a song of both personal devotion and collective worship.
