An Rock guitar instrumental. A late 1960s style...well, sort of.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
Having fun with loud guitars and a Rock band sound. The early 60s 'beat group', transformed and up-graded into the later 60s sound. I've used my Parker Fly guitar and a Crafter 'P' style bass on this recording. To get close to a 60s sound on the bass, I put a small piece of sponge under the strings close to the bridge... it's either that or re-stringing with flat-wound bass strings! anyway, it seems to work. The inclusion of a 'Hammond' organ player to 'the band', seems to suggest a later 60s sound.

I really like this, great vibe! Excellent guitar work, bass & keys. It has a kind of psychedelic edge to it and takes us back to a time when life seemed brighter
