Story behind the song

Lyrics
Mixing my metaphors E A E Mixing my metaphors, riddling my rhymes A E F#7 B Bb A Ab Tongue tied, refried, too many times E F#m C#m B A Syncopated semaphore when I try to dance A E B7 E Two sweet left feet give me no chance B7 E I might be trying to fly a kite A E F# B7 But I still got you in my sights anyway Jiggling my jelly beans, juggling the juice Its hot but what have I got to lose Talking to never-beens, wasting my words I don’t , I won’t do things by thirds Ever since you passed and flashed that smile I’ve known I’ll get you in a little while A E But while I’m working on my master plan F# B7 You simply don’t know who I am
