Christopher Columbus was more of a mass murdered than a great explorer. Production values of this song are much better than older ones, too.

Artist picture
A solo punk band with songs ranging from politics to social issues to evolutionary biology.
Lacking any real musical talent, I decided to use Punk-o-Matic to create some generic punk backgrounds to the various songs I had written. Recorded at low quality through a computer microphone, the songs are not musical masterpieces but the lyrics are still strong. Give it a listen, you might enjoy it.

Read some non-consensus history.
Lyrics
Medieval man looks out upon the horizon-stretching sea, Looking to find wealth in a far off country, Charged by a king to claim new land for his native nation, Medieval man sails blindly without trepidation, Through stormy seas and meager supplies, His crew holds on, desperate to just survive, Alas, the lookout spots the revered dry land, So begins another fearful chapter in the history of man. Genocide on fellow men, ‘Cause they’re different than I am, Don’t we all share common roots? Can this be the truth? The fearless explorer finds neither spices nor gold, But rather a native population worshiping “false idols”, With a simple handshake a plague is unleashed, Five thousand years worth of diseases brought to the beach, With the population weak, Medieval Man now takes action, Enslaving the poor Natives to his satisfaction, For countless hours they labor in the brutal heat, Dropping like flies, the weak and sick fall to their feet. Genocide on fellow men, ‘Cause they’re different than I am, Don’t we all share common roots? Can this be the truth? Medieval Man finally gives up on his plans, Deciding to take the life of every Native man, Systematically they’re slaughtered and killed, Until the new-found island becomes a body land fill, Plundering what’s left of the natural resources, Medieval Man leaves the island, brings back his forces, A great victory is proclaimed in his home country, The horrors lost in the pages of consensus history. Genocide on fellow men, ‘Cause they’re different than I am, Don’t we all share common roots? Can this be the truth?
