This is a live version of the song. In a minor key. Heavy guitar with Pedal steel, mandolin--basically it was an eight piece band. Has a great spontaneous breakout towards end of song. If lyrics needed just e-mail me.

(Dark)folk/acoustic
My name is Cory Parkhurst. I hail from Raleigh, North Carolina. I love all sorts of music from Bill Monroe to Black Sabbath. Had a rock band called Masses of Black. We played covers and originals. Shifted back to acoustic music because I like it's rawness, subtleness, and it's soul. Most of the time, what you see is what you get. My music seems to be classified as "dark folk". I also do traditional songs as well as other things.

Story behind the song
I used to bartend at the second oldest Blues bar in North Carolina (now management has changed). Anyway, I always hung out late with musicians. Then an idea evolved into Nightcrawler and the darkness went from there.
