Story behind the song

I used to watch this TV programme when I was a child...narrated by the wonderful Johnnie Morris. I've always liked the theme tune which was played on classical guitar by the legendary Julian Bream.
This is obviously not like the original at all, but it's my 'interpretation', with added parts by myself, where I can't remember how it went. This is two guitars (lots of takes!) with a little country atmosphere added to give it an 'outdoor' kind of sound.
I played it on a Yamaha APX-4A acoustic guitar recorded 'live' into my Zoom R-24 recorder. I then 'mastered' it on Adobe Audition (1.5)..

Brilliant!! I used to watch Tales of the Riverbank too!!! Those were the days...such a gentle, calming programme. Wouldn't it be great to go back to that little world again? Really great playing, lovely expression and tone. Excellent stuff.
