Story behind the song
the song that has the most acoustic feel to it. i didn't put any samples and loops on this one. just plain metronome behind us all. but, there were several drumtracks going on the stanzas just like any other songs in the record, e.g. "than a frustration". i got it from listening to Stereo Lab and found out later on that Bonnie Pink used similar techniques in her "just a girl" album. i always try to do it in every song i write and record. i recorded the drum tracks all alone in the studio. i had a hard time running back and forth from the computer to the drumkit. the thing that i wasn't happy about is yuro's vocals. he locked himself alone inside the studio while tracking his vocals. he put a lot of lower frequency to it. markus had his bass parts simplified in this recorded version. we were both damn sleepy while tracking them. but he does a lot of other tricks playing this song live.
