A short musical Science-Fiction Vignette...A lively Rock tune with spoken words...

Pop/Rock, Psychedelic, Ambient, Rhythm & Blues and beyond.
Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
The idea behind this was to create a very short Science-Fiction story with music and futuristic atmospheres. My starting point was... the title of Harlan Edison's story... ''Repent Harlequin'', said the Tick-Tock man. The music is my interpretation/distillation of some Be Bop Deluxe musical motifs.
Lyrics
I came equipped only with dreams, in order to change the course of this obscure and somewhat backward planet. I now find myself marooned here. I have been arrested and placed under some kind of electronic house arrest. However, my mind is free to roam wherever it pleases. I try to avoid the robot Tick-Tock men who regulate and police the timing of all the meaningless tasks that the population here must perform. My endless questions and reckless lack of punctuality drives them to the brink of electronic meltdown.

Simply lots of fun, and it must have been a blast to create all those sci-fi effects

I really like this track, it's the kind of music that you can't stick a label on or assign to any particular genre, and I find that kind of thing fascinating. Highly creative, unusual and slightly strange (in a good way). Great guitar work, love the vocals/lyrics and the production is top notch. Definitely an attention grabber.
