Story behind the song
I got a common denominator between 4 & 7 in which their multipliers were at &/or exceeded 40 for the tempo due to my DAW only starting at 40BPMS 280 is the first number that pops up within that limitation https://ncalculators.com/multiplication-print.php?v=200... so for 280, the multiplier for 4 is 70, and for 7, is 40. 4*70 = 280 / 7*40 = 280 4*70 = 7 * 40 so using the law of proportions for the above, we get 4/40 = 7/70, which means that the track in 4 at 40BPMS will be equivalent to the track in 7 at 70 BPMS This is proven further by reducing the fractions seeing that they are equivalent: 1/10 = 1/10 Or by actually dividing them 4/40 = 0.1 7/70 = 0.1 therefore, a track recorded in 7/4 meter at 70 bpms will line up perfectly with a track recorded in 4/4 meter at 40 BPMS
